About the Event
Come enjoy a tasty afternoon pick-me-up from Shy Guy Gelato of Burlington, meet other Italophiles, learn about VICA, and get a book!
This is a ticketed event that includes a serving of gelato and the upcoming memoir You Deserve Good Gelato by Kacie Rose, an American who moved to Italy in 2021. She reflects on the terror of driving on Italian roads, the trials of speaking a new language (and getting it horribly wrong), and the genuine beauty of a slower pace of life, all with humor and heart.
If you plan to come as a pair and only want one copy of the book between the two of you, you may purchase a companion ticket for just gelato and not a book. Companion tickets must be purchased with an accompanying full-book ticket.
